Also attending were Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee: Huynh Thanh Dien, Le Ngoc Hoa, representatives of the Organizing Committee, Office of the Provincial People's Committee, and related departments and sectors. |

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong presented the Decision on appointment of comrade Le Tien Tri - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Thai Hoa Town Party Committee to hold the position of Director of the Provincial Investment Promotion and Support Center.

On December 16, 2016, the Prime Minister issued Decision 2465 QD-TTg on the establishment of the Nghe An Provincial Investment Promotion and Support Center.

Currently, the Center has 19 staffing targets. Regarding consulting and support, the Center has had initial promotional activities to help investors understand and use consulting and support services for investors; consulting and supporting investment procedure guidance in the following forms: in person, by phone, by email, and has consulted and supported dozens of investors and businesses.
The provincial one-stop shop located at the Center officially came into operation on June 19, 2017. The results of receiving and returning results in 11 fields at the one-stop shop after 2 weeks of operation have received 45 records. Regarding the progress of the projects signed at the Dinh Dau Spring Investment Promotion Conference (8 projects and 25 memorandums of understanding on investment cooperation in Nghe An province with a total registered capital of 22,628 billion VND), immediately after the Conference, the Investment Promotion and Support Center closely coordinated with departments, branches, connected with investors and partners to implement the next steps, but currently the progress is still slow.
Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong emphasized: The establishment of the Investment Promotion and Support Center is expected to improve the province's investment environment.
However, compared to the task requirements as well as the investment attraction work, the results achieved are not as expected. Because it has just started operating, the investment consulting and support work has not been implemented much, therefore, it is recommended that the Center, based on the assigned functions and tasks, continue to improve and operate effectively, pay attention to promoting, calling for and supporting investors.
In addition to the Provincial People's Committee continuing to pay attention to creating favorable conditions, requiring enthusiastic staff of the center, all levels and sectors must fully support. The center needs to proactively build a public administrative system, complete regulations and mechanisms; soon set up a website to facilitate investors in accessing procedures...

Regarding the Center's recommendations on special mechanisms for the Center, the budget of the one-stop department..., the Provincial People's Committee will study and create favorable conditions for the unit to operate.
Regarding the progress of the projects, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee to monitor and guide investors to implement the projects. Regarding some problems of some projects, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also assigned specific responsibilities to relevant departments and branches to resolve and handle. The Southeast Economic Zone proactively worked with FLC investors and Thai investors to remove difficulties in planning and site clearance for the FLC Nghe An resort, ecological tourism and entertainment complex project...
