On the afternoon of June 6, the National Assembly discussed in groups the draft Law on Securities (amended), the draft Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces (amended), and the draft Resolution amending and supplementing Resolution No. 81/2014/QH13 dated November 24, 2014 of the National Assembly on the implementation of the Law on Organization of People's Courts.

Speaking at the group, giving comments on the draft Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces (amended), the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An all agreed on the necessity of amending this Law to build a strong militia and self-defense force, improve overall quality, combat readiness, combat service, and together with the people's army, act as the core in performing national defense and military tasks, contributing to the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland.
National Assembly Deputy Nguyen Sy Hoi said it is necessary to clearly define the role, functions and tasks of the maritime militia and self-defense force to contribute to the struggle and protection of sea and island sovereignty, and to build a national defense for all people.
National Assembly Deputy Tran Van Mao said that it is necessary to review the organization of militia and self-defense forces in enterprises to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Constitution and the law, meeting practical requirements so that the law is highly feasible, especially for enterprises with foreign investment capital. In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to the emulation and reward regimes in the militia and self-defense forces to ensure compliance with the provisions of the law on emulation and reward regimes.
National Assembly Deputy Mong Van Tinh said it is necessary to unify the names for positions in the militia and self-defense force, and clearly stipulate uniforms, policies, and special allowances for the militia and self-defense force.
Speaking about the content of the draft Resolution amending and supplementing Resolution No. 81/2014/QH13 dated November 24, 2014 of the National Assembly on the implementation of the Law on Organization of People's Courts, the delegates highly agreed on the issuance of the draft Resolution to ensure the force of judges of the Supreme People's Court.
