(Baonghean.vn) - Hoanh Son Communal House in Hamlet 4, Khanh Son Commune, Nam Dan District, built 291 years ago, is considered one of two communal houses with unique sculpture art in our country and is also a unique and attractive tourist destination. Every year, many tourists from all over the world come to visit the communal house. However, this national cultural heritage is seriously deteriorating over time.

In 2002, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An organized to repair the communal house, but after a while, the communal house continued to deteriorate. The roof on both sides showed signs of rotting and was gradually collapsing. The walls were cracked everywhere. The main pillars of the communal house were infested with termites, and the roof tiles were falling down and crumbling.
