They clean once a year to welcome Tet and enjoy Spring."

People's demand is high, so this is also the "peak" business season for companies specializing in this service. Mr. Nguyen Van Tuyen, owner of a company specializing incleaning servicesin Vinh city said: “We have temporarily stopped receiving customers. The schedule is full until the afternoon of the 28th of Tet. Despite the epidemic, the demand for house cleaning has increased compared to previous years. After the 23rd of December, the company has had to divide into 3 groups to clean houses on time for customers.”

To clean the house on time according to customers' orders, in addition to 8 regular workers, during Tet, Mr. Tuyen also had to hire 10 seasonal workers with a salary of 250,000 - 300,000 VND/day but it was still not enough to meet the demand. There were times when he had to work overtime, work through lunch and until 9-10 pm to finish.

According to a survey, the price of house cleaning services on many websites and social networks for hourly house cleaning services during Tet is up to 200,000 - 250,000 VND/hour; the price of full house cleaning services ranges from 10,000 - 15,000 VND/m2 (the price may change depending on the area, number of glass panels, furniture and house structure). This price is higher than usual, but people's demand has still increased very strongly, especially in the last half month.

Not only in the city, recently,professional house cleaning serviceis also quite "popular" in urban areas. Many groups of house cleaning for hire and hourly cleaning have been formed. Although they are not as professional and methodical as companies specializing in this service, it is still a seasonal job that brings in a good income near Tet.

During Tet, the 5 sisters formed a group to clean houses for families in need. In addition to the town and market areas, in other localities, well-off families also look for people to hire general cleaning and garden cleaning during Tet. From the 15th of December until now, there has been work almost every day. Especially after the Ong Cong, Ong Tao Tet, our group has received more work, cleaning houses for 3-4 households a day, earning about 300,000-400,000 VND/day.”
