(Baonghean.vn) - Colonel Tran Van Hung, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Commander of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command, requested that affiliated agencies and units strictly handle cases of using defense land for the wrong purpose.

In recent times, agencies and units under the Provincial Military Command have effectively deployed and implemented regulations and guidelines from all levels on the use of national defense land, gradually bringing it into order;
Regularly inspect and review the management and use of national defense land in planned areas for stationing troops, training grounds, construction of combat facilities and warehouses for the provincial armed forces in accordance with military regulations and State laws, contributing to the cause of socio-economic construction and development and ensuring national defense and security.

Concluding the inspection, Colonel Tran Van Hung requested that agencies and units continue to thoroughly grasp Directive No. 01/CT-TTg dated January 3, 2018 of the Prime Minister; strengthen land management and build a land information system and inspection plan approved by the Minister of National Defense.

Units closely coordinate with local Party committees and authorities where they are stationed; regularly supplement and complete legal documents, add boundaries, landmarks, and actual areas of each defense land assigned for management.
The Commander of the Provincial Military Command emphasized: "Resolutely and strictly handle cases of using defense land for the wrong purpose, striving to have over 95% of defense land area granted land use right certificates by 2020."
