Canada: School shooting leaves at least 5 dead
(Baonghean.vn) – On the afternoon of January 22, a shooting took place at a school in central Canada, killing at least 5 people and injuring many others.
A young man was arrested on the afternoon of January 22 after opening fire at an Indigenous school in La Loche, Saskatchewan, central Canada. Police are currently investigating to clarify the suspect's motive for the crime.

In a television interview, a witness said he heard six to seven gunshots inside the school, which has about 900 students.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau confirmed the news and said five people were killed and several others were injured, including two in critical condition. He also said police had arrested a suspect who was carrying a weapon.
Speaking about the attack, Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall sent his condolences and prayers to all the victims, their families and friends.
After the shooting, another school near the school decided to close and take security measures.
