Da Nang Airport welcomes Vietjet's 5 millionth passenger.

On December 30th, Da Nang International Airport welcomed its 5 millionth passenger, Mr. Tran Minh Thinh, a leader of Steel Pipe Company 190, who was traveling on business on Vietjet flight VJ511 from Hanoi to Da Nang.

To mark this occasion, Vietjet awarded Mr. Tran Minh Thinh "one year of free flights with Vietjet" and two adjacent passengers, Mr. Yasuda Takenori, a Japanese tourist, a pair of round-trip tickets to Thailand; and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Ly, an employee of Fubon Vietnam Insurance Company, a pair of round-trip tickets to Singapore.

The passenger terminal at Da Nang International Airport was established and put into operation on December 25, 2011. It is the third largest airport in Vietnam. In 2014, passenger numbers increased by 16% compared to the previous year. Of these, international passengers reached nearly 900,000, a 53% increase compared to 2013. Five million passengers is an impressive figure achieved by Da Nang Airport in 2014.

Mr. Tran Minh Thinh shared: “I was truly surprised and happy to learn that I was the 5 millionth passenger. Perhaps Vietjet flights have brought me this wonderful luck. I chose Vietjet because the airline operates many flights a day, making it convenient to choose flight times, saving time and costs, and offering attentive and dedicated service…”
