Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tien:Today and tonight (October 29), the departmentcold aircontinue to move south. Due to the influence of the cold air strengthening combined with the disturbance of the east wind in the high altitude, the Gulf of Tonkin and the North Central Coast still have strong northeast winds of level 6-7, gusting to level 9; rough seas. Waves are 2-4m high. Northeast winds inland are strong at level 3, coastal areas at level 4 - level 5, some places at level 6. The weather is turning cold.
From today (October 29) to October 31, due to the influence of cold air combined with high-altitude easterly wind disturbances, Nghe An province will have moderate to heavy rain. Common rainfall: 200 - 300 mm/period, some places 400 - 500 mm/period.
Therefore, in Nghe An area, it is easy to happen.flash flood, landslidein the midlands and mountainous areas (Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Con Cuong, Thanh Chuong, Que Phong Quy Chau), flooding in urban areas and low-lying areas (Vinh City, Hung Nguyen, Nghi Loc).
For reservoirs, water levels are rising, especially many reservoirs are full, there is a risk of incidents.
