Heavy rain warning in the North and North Central regions - Thunderstorm, tornado and hail warning in the Central and South regions
Heavy rains are expected in the North and North Central regions, while the Central Highlands and the South are at risk of thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning and hail. The weather forecast for the next 48 hours is that there is a risk of flash floods, inundation and landslides.
On the afternoon and evening of May 29, many places in the South Central, Central Highlands and Southern regions experienced moderate to very heavy rain. Some areas in the North Central region also recorded heavy rain. In many places, the rainfall exceeded 100mm, typically Ha Tinh (143.8mm), Thanh Hoa (126.8mm), Gia Lai and Dak Lak all over 100mm.

From the night of May 29 to the morning of May 30, rain will continue in the Central Highlands and the South. Moderate to locally heavy rain is forecast, with rainfall ranging from 15-30mm, with some places reaching over 70mm. Localized heavy rain can reach over 100mm in just 3 hours.
