(Baonghean.vn) - According to the North Central Hydrometeorological Station, heavy rain is forecast over a large area from tonight (October 31), with a risk of localized flooding in Vinh City, Hung Nguyen, Nghi Loc, and Nam Dan.
According to the news broadcast at 3:00 p.m. on October 31 by the North Central Hydrometeorological Station,Currently, the continental high pressure tongue is strengthening and shifting eastward, combined with the activity of disturbances in the East wind zone; on the subtropical high pressure tongue, it is encroaching westward.

Forecast:From the night of October 31 to November 2, the North Central region will have moderate to heavy rain, with some places in Ha Tinh experiencing very heavy rain and thunderstorms. Total rainfall in Thanh Hoa and northern Nghe An is generally 50-100mm/period; southern Nghe An and Ha Tinh are generally 150-250mm/period, with some places in Ha Tinh experiencing over 300mm.
Warning:Risk of local flooding in low-lying areas, urban flooding, coastal plains of Nghe An and Ha Tinh. Especially in Nghe An, there are Vinh City, Hung Nguyen, Nghi Loc, Nam Dan.
