(Baonghean.vn) - Due to the influence of a low-pressure system that tends to become stronger, in the evening and tonight (July 6), there will be showers and thunderstorms in the North and Central regions. In particular, the mountainous provinces in the North will have moderate rain, with heavy rain in some places. During thunderstorms, there is a high possibility of tornadoes, whirlwinds and strong gusts of wind.
According to the forecast of the Central Hydrometeorological Forecasting Center, due to the influence of the southeastern edge of the low pressure area in the West with the southwest wind causing the foehn effect, today (July 6), heat waves continue to occur widely in the North and Central provinces with the highest temperature during the day commonly ranging from 35-37 degrees.
The Northern Delta region, the Northern and Central Central provinces are extremely hot, the highest temperature during the day is commonly 37-39 degrees, some places are over 39 degrees. The time with temperature over 35 degrees is from 10am to 7pm.
From July 7, the heat wave ended in the mountainous areas of the North and gradually decreased in the Northern Delta region.
