Warning about fake painkillers
A representative of the Drug Administration of Vietnam, Ministry of Health, said on May 27 that they had detected fake anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving drugs and advised people not to sell or use these drugs.
Specifically, the counterfeit drug is labeled as Voltarén 75 mg solution inyectable, batch number 81111, expiration date December 2023. The language on the box and syringe is Spanish, there is no Vietnamese information on the packaging, no circulation registration number and barcode. Box size 12 x 10.5 cm.
Representatives of the Drug Administration Department recommend that people do not trade or use counterfeit products with the above-mentioned signs. Health departments and functional forces will inspect drug businesses to trace the origin of counterfeit products.
Voltaren is classified as an analgesic, anti-inflammatory drug, used for patients with inflammation, rheumatism, ankylosing spondylitis... The drug is sold with a doctor's prescription.

This is the second time the Drug Administration has warned about fake Voltaren, the first time being in November 2021. Previously, the Ministry of Health repeatedly warned about fake drugs, including fake molnupiravir and many drugs of unknown origin, advertised improperly, advertised with exaggerated effects, affecting the health of users.
