Below are symptoms that health experts warn could be symptoms of serious illnesses, according to Daily Mail.

1. Sudden pain in the abdomen

Abdominal pain is quite common. However, if the pain is severe and comes on suddenly, you need to see a doctor, said Evelyn Lewin, a well-known general practitioner in Australia.

“There are many things that can cause abdominal pain, from inflammatory bowel disease to constipation to a ruptured ovarian cyst to a ruptured aorta,” adds Dr. Lewin. So if you feel sudden, severe pain, call an ambulance or have someone take you to the hospital immediately.

2. Shortness of breath for no apparent reason

This condition is most likely due to obstructive pulmonary disease, especially in smokers. It can also be a sign of asthma or pneumonia.

3. Sudden headache

For many people, due to the pressure of life and stressful work, headaches become normal. But if the headache is severe and occurs suddenly, it can be a sign of a brain hemorrhage, according to Daily Mail.

4. Constantly thirsty

If your thirst is so intense that you drink a lot of water and it doesn't go away, see your doctor. Dr. Lewin warns that it could be a symptom of diabetes.

“When blood sugar levels are too high, the body stimulates the kidneys to excrete excess sugar in the urine. This makes the patient thirsty and urinate more,” Dr. Lewin explained.

5. Pain in certain areas of the body

Chest pain can be a symptom of heart disease. Other common symptoms of a heart attack include unusual fatigue, shortness of breath, coughing, vomiting, etc.

Although heart symptoms can differ between men and women, the most common symptoms in both sexes are pain in the chest, neck, jaw, arms, and back.

Heart disease in men often has symptoms such as feeling weak, cold sweats, dizziness, in women it is often sleep disorders, indigestion and anxiety, according to Daily Mail.
