Beware of high-tech use in the 2023 High School Graduation Exam

On the morning of June 18, the Department of Education and Training held a conference to organize the 2023 high school graduation exam.

This is an important conference with the participation of leaders of the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Police and a number of related departments, agencies and sectors. The meeting also had the participation of the heads and deputy heads of 70 examination sites in the whole province.

This year, Nghe An has 36,889 candidates participating in 70 exam sites and 1,669 exam rooms. To prepare for this exam, the whole province mobilized 5,864 officials to work as invigilators and exam service officers, including 3,843 officials working as invigilators and exam site supervisors.

The Department's leaders also noted that the National High School Graduation Exam is especially important, so the organization of the exam must be serious, in accordance with regulations, secure, safe, and confidential.

However, invigilators must also work objectively and fairly, creating safe and comfortable psychological conditions so that students can do their best on the test.

At the meeting, Colonel Tran Ngoc Tuan - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, Deputy Head of the Examination Steering Committee also thoroughly grasped the contents to implement the safe exam. The characteristics of Nghe An are the large number of candidates taking the exam, many examination sites, so ensuring safety at the examination sites is difficult, there are many risks to traffic safety and security.

In addition, ensuring safety at examination sites also faces many other objective factors such as fire and explosion, the use of broadcasting equipment in examination schools, candidates using high technology, bad elements taking advantage of students' anxiety to fraudulently print exam questions and papers, and taking advantage of social networks to spread false news.

With the aim of ensuring absolute security and safety at the examination sites, without any mistakes, the Deputy Director of the Provincial Police also requested the Department of Education and Training and related units to continue reviewing the necessary conditions, stages, departments, and examination sites to have proactive plans to advise the province to do a good job of preparation, inspection, and implementation, ensuring the procedures and regulations of the law.

The heads of the examination sites must thoroughly instruct members to follow the regulations. The supervisors must carefully guide the candidates to follow the regulations, avoid unfortunate violations, and ensure the rights of the candidates. In addition, it is necessary to prepare enough human resources for the examination preparation work, especially for the examination supervisors, who must be qualified, have good moral qualities and demonstrate high responsibility in the process of performing their duties.
