(Baonghean.vn) -While on patrol duty, the 212 task force of the 113 Police force of Nghe An province promptly detected and prevented a robbery, recovering the stolen property and returning it to the victim.
At approximately 2 PM on April 25th, while on patrol on Mai Hac De Street (Ha Huy Tap Ward, Vinh City), Special Task Force 212 of the Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order heard shouts of "robbery" from residents at house number 16. They immediately pursued two suspects riding a black and purple Exciter motorcycle with license plate 37N2 – 5606. When pursued to Ho Tong Thoc Street, the two suspects abandoned their motorcycle and a birdcage before fleeing into a residential area. The police recovered the motorcycle, the birdcage, and a magpie, valued at approximately 1.5 million VND.

Shortly afterward, the police contacted Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu (born in 1990), residing at house number 16, Mai Hac De Street, to report the incident and reclaim his property. Mr. Hieu stated that at approximately 2 PM on April 25th, while sitting in his living room, he heard the gate open. Looking out, he saw a stranger reaching for a birdcage hanging high up. Mr. Hieu ran out to stop him, but the suspect insisted on taking it before jumping onto a motorbike driven by an accomplice and fleeing.
After clarifying the situation, the 113 Police proceeded with the procedures to return the property to its owner. As for the vehicle abandoned by the two suspects, after verification, the police discovered that the vehicle had a fake license plate, with chassis number RLCE1S 940407Y001699 and engine number 1F94001699.
The police are currently investigating the case and are pursuing the two suspects involved in the robbery to bring them to justice.
