At this time, in the Bach Long Vi island area, the Northeast monsoon is at level 5, level 6, the weather is cold. The number of fishing boats entering the harbor to avoid wintering is more than 300, mainly of fishermen from the Central provinces such as Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Binh, Quang Ngai, Phu Yen... Here, the Coast Guard and Border Guard forces have propagated to 168 boats with 950 people, distributed 200 leaflets on combating IUU fishing. In addition, they have given 120 national flags, 25 life jackets, and 20 gifts to the people.
The above activities have contributed to helping fishermen grasp the scope of Vietnam's sea area, voluntarily comply with the law when operating at sea, not violate foreign waters to illegally catch seafood; join hands with all levels, sectors and the whole country to remove the "yellow card" for Vietnam's seafood exports. At the same time, encourage the spirit of fishermen to confidently go offshore, contributing to protecting the sovereignty of the Fatherland.
