Traffic police sent notices to 162 cases of violations on the highway during the 9-day Tet holiday
This is information from Highway Traffic Police Team No. 4 under the Road and Railway Traffic Patrol and Control Guidance Department (Traffic Police Department) in charge of the National Highway 45 - Nghi Son - Dien Chau - Bai Vot.
During the 9-day Lunar New Year holiday (from January 25 to February 2, from the 26th day of the Lunar New Year to the 5th day of the Lunar New Year), Highway Traffic Police Team No. 4 under the Road and Railway Traffic Patrol and Control Guidance Department (Traffic Police Department) in charge of the National Highway 45 - Nghi Son - Dien Chau - Bai Vot expressway inspected 332 vehicles, recorded 52 traffic violations, with a total fine of 210.2 million VND, and deducted driving license points for 13 cases (13 cars) and temporarily detained 7 vehicles (1 car, 6 motorbikes).

Some main violations: Alcohol concentration (1 case); Speed (33 cases); Carrying more people than the prescribed number (3 cases); Not wearing a seat belt (6 cases); Not obeying the command of the inspector (6 cases); Not wearing a helmet (6 cases); People from 16 to under 18 years old driving a motorbike with a cylinder capacity of 50 cm or more (6 cases); Driving a vehicle without a license plate (6 cases); Not having a vehicle registration certificate (6 cases).
In addition, through technical equipment, 151 cases of speeding violations were recorded, of which 33 cases were recorded and 118 cases were notified to vehicle owners. Through images recorded from patrol and mobile control, 44 cases of lane change violations without signaling were detected and notifications were sent to vehicle owners.

The Traffic Police Team has organized 24/7 patrols, control and handling of violations, including checking alcohol and drug levels “throughout the night and during Tet”. During the course of their duties, officers and soldiers always strictly follow the provisions of the law, “no forbidden areas, no exceptions”, all violations of traffic safety and order are strictly handled according to the provisions of the law.
