Speaking with Nghe An Newspaper, Captain Le Dang Khoa - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Team, Vinh City Police affirmed that the unit's deployment of plainclothes forces in combination with public forces to patrol, control, and handle violations of traffic safety and order in the city is completely in accordance with regulations, in accordance with the spirit of Circular 01/2016 of the Ministry of Public Security and Plan 212 of Nghe An Provincial Police.
Responding to the question, "People are worried that bad people will take advantage of them and will not be able to distinguish exactly who is a police officer in disguise?", Captain Le Dang Khoa added that the disguised traffic police force when performing this task is coordinated by the public force. When detecting a violation, they must present their industry card and take the violation to the police station or police headquarters to handle the violation, not impose a fine on the spot. The handling is also carried out by the traffic police in public uniform.

''The establishment of patrol teams to control traffic police in disguise combined with public announcements as planned is due to the fact that many young people in the area do not wear helmets, and drive motorbikes in a zigzag manner, causing traffic safety problems. They often run away if they detect people in uniform. In fact, many cases of traffic safety violations that we detect and handle are also related to drugs and theft...'', Captain Le Dang Khoa said.
