Nghe An traffic police banned vehicles carrying ore from circulating on National Highway 7 to prioritize flood relief vehicles.
Faced with the situation of heavy rain and floods causing serious landslides on National Highway 7, Nghe An Province Traffic Police coordinated with functional forces to request the suspension of all ore transportation activities on this route, to ensure safety and prioritize rescue vehicles.

According to the officers of the Road Traffic Police Team No. 2, Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police, previously, some trucks carrying ore proactively avoided the flood and when the floodwaters receded, more than 10 trucks were able to move downstream in time. However, there are still 4 trucks remaining in Huu Kiem commune, Muong Xen.
Faced with the fact that the road still has many potential risks due to landslides, Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 has banned these vehicles from circulating at the present time.

The ban on vehicles carrying ore at this time is the result of consensus among functional forces including: Traffic Police, Customs, Traffic Inspectorate and local authorities...
This inter-sectoral coordination aims to ensure strict management of transportation activities on National Highway 7, both to protect the safety of vehicles and people of the transport enterprises themselves, and to give absolute priority to vehicles carrying relief and rescue goods to quickly reach flood-affected areas.
This move affirms that in times of natural disasters, all vehicles must prioritize relief work and support people to overcome difficulties. Ensuring safety and smooth operation of the route is a shared responsibility, especially for heavy-duty vehicles such as ore trucks.
