Malaysian police arrest 21 Vietnamese and Thai women
21 Vietnamese and Thai women without valid documents were arrested by Malaysian police in a raid on an entertainment establishment in the Puchong area on the night of January 8.

The raid was carried out by the Serdang District D7 force under the command of Rozam Effandy at 9:45 p.m.
Twenty-one Vietnamese and Thai women were said to be working as guest relations officers (GROs) at the entertainment center and were all arrested for not having valid documents.
According to Mr. Rozman, this entertainment facility has no operating license, illegally recruits foreign workers and provides “fresh” services by foreign GROs.
When the raid was conducted, the center was packed with tables filled with more than 30 customers. All sound equipment and cash were confiscated.
The arrested people have been taken to Puchong police headquarters to assist with the investigation./.
