Nghe An police promptly rescued 8 people trapped in storm No. 10
Due to the impact of storm No. 10, in the early morning of September 29, in Nghe An province, there were 2 consecutive collapses, roofs of houses and buildings were blown off, leaving 8 people trapped. The Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Force, Nghe An Provincial Police promptly deployed forces and vehicles to rescue people safely.
At about 02:55 on September 29, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department received a report of an incident in which someone was trapped in a house at 159 Nguyen Phong Sac Street, Truong Vinh Ward. Immediately after receiving the information, the unit mobilized Fire Fighting and Rescue Team No. 1 to dispatch 2 rescue vehicles and 12 officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene.

At the scene, the roof of the level 4 house was blown off, the beams fell down, trapping 4 people, including 1 injured person. The rescue team quickly deployed measures to cut, remove, and move obstacles, and approach to rescue the victims. At about 04:05 the same day, 4 victims were brought out safely; 1 injured victim was transferred to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Then, at 04:03 on the same day, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department continued to receive reports of an incident with people trapped at Gate No. 3, WHA Company, Road N5, Trung Loc Commune. The unit mobilized Fire Fighting and Rescue Team No. 8 to dispatch 2 rescue vehicles and 12 officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene.

Due to the impact of the storm, the corrugated iron roof and other building components were blown off and collapsed, trapping 4 people in the level 4 house. The Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police force urgently deployed a rescue plan, and by 04:50 the same day, the 4 victims were brought out safely. Currently, the victims have been brought to Fire Fighting and Rescue Team No. 8 to stabilize their health and continue to receive care.



To promptly overcome the consequences of storm No. 10, on September 29, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department mobilized the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team on the river, led by comrade Le Thanh Binh - Deputy Head of the Department, to clear the traffic route on Tue Tinh Street, Vinh Phu Ward.
Storm No. 10 also caused the welcome gate on National Highway 7A through Linh Son 7 hamlet, Yen Xuan commune (former Anh Son district) to collapse, making it impossible for vehicles to move. Upon receiving the news, CC&CNCH Team No. 5 deployed 02 fire trucks, rescue vehicles and 12 officers to the scene, using hydraulic cutting equipment to demolish the welcome gate. By 10:45 a.m. on September 29, the functional forces had coordinated to clear the traffic on National Highway 7A.
Many incidents occurred in complicated stormy weather conditions, but the Nghe An Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police force proactively and promptly handled the situation, effectively rescuing people, demonstrating a sense of responsibility, professionalism and high determination to serve the people.
