Police seized a "warehouse" of weapons when chasing two fighting groups.

Previously, Cao Loc District Police (Lam Dong) received a report that two groups of young men were chasing and fighting each other in Nam Quan area, Dong Dang town. District police promptly deployed forces to the scene to arrest the suspects.

Through investigation, Cao Loc District Police arrested the subjects involved in the fight, including: Dinh Tuan Hiep (29 years old), Nong Van Lat (30 years old), Du Quoc Dat (24 years old), Vu Manh Tung (30 years old), all residing in Dong Dang town, Cao Loc district; Vu Tuan Vinh (29 years old, residing in Dong Mo town, Chi Lang district) and Vy Tuan Anh (24 years old, residing in Dong Kinh ward, Lang Son city).

Searching Dinh Tuan Hiep's residence, discovered and confiscated 30 knives, swords, and sabers of various types; 1 iron tube, 1 pair of handcuffs, 1 electric baton, and 15 black armors.

The subjects confessed: due to a conflict with a group of young men, at around 12:30 on January 5, when they saw 20 masked young men coming to their house, thinking that this group of people intended to beat them, Hiep told Lat, Dat, Tung, Vy and Tuan Anh to hold many types of weapons including knives, swords, and machetes to chase and beat the group of young men.

Seeing Hiep’s group holding weapons, the group of young men ran away. Among the young men who ran away, two were hit by a car, fell onto the street, and were chased by Vu Manh Tung who used the handle of a knife to hit them in the face, causing injuries.

Currently, the police force is continuing to expand the investigation to clarify the related subjects for handling according to the provisions of law.
