(Baonghean.vn) - The Dien Chau - Bai Vot section of the North-South Expressway, constructed by joint ventures, is accelerating progress. During the recent holidays and even now, the teams and units are working in three shifts continuously.

| The Dien Chau - Bai Vot section of the North-South Expressway, invested by Phuc Thanh Hung Joint Stock Company, is currently under vigorous construction by joint venture units. The project passes through the districts of Dien Chau, Nghi Loc, and Hung Nguyen in Nghe An province (44.40km) and Duc Tho district in Ha Tinh province (4.9km). A representative from Phuc Thanh Hung Joint Stock Company stated that the company has mobilized manpower, resources, and equipment, dividing them into shifts working around the clock, with the highest priority being ensuring the project's progress. | To date, the project enterprise has received land handover from Project Management Board 6 and the local land clearance council for a volume of 46.3/49.30 km (93.92%). The remaining land clearance issues mainly involve protected forests and land passing through residential areas, technical infrastructure works, and some graves in Hung Nguyen… At the "critical point" of Than Vu mountain in Dien Chau, the units are still deploying multiple construction teams to excavate tunnels. | Taking advantage of favorable weather conditions, vehicles were mobilized to the maximum extent to transport raw materials for the project. According to the unit's survey, the basic earth fill material quarries meet the requirements; however, their uneven distribution results in high transportation costs, with some quarries having significantly higher prices than estimated, causing difficulties for the contractor. Regarding stone quarries, the reserves are sufficient, but the extraction capacity of these quarries is low, forcing contractors to utilize many quarries to meet the project schedule... In the coming period, the unit will accelerate the construction of service roads throughout the project, thereby connecting these service roads with major national and provincial roads such as N2, N5, QL48E, QL46A, QL46B, QL46C, QL8A... to transport materials and equipment for the main route and other works along the route. To date, approximately 35.7/50 km of the service road system along the entire route has been constructed, reaching about 71.4% of the total volume.
