Timely rescue of a fisherman in a work accident at sea

At 7:15 p.m. on December 20, at the wharf area of ​​Squadron 2 (Cua Lo Town), the medical force of Nghe An Border Guard organized to receive fisherman Bui Duy Ninh, born in 1958, hometown Tien Thuy Commune, Quynh Luu District, who was transported to shore by boat BP 06.15.01 of Squadron 2 (Nghe An Border Guard).

Previously, at around 4:00 p.m. on December 20, the vehicle with registration number NA 95699 TS, with Mr. Ho Ngoc Minh as the boatman and 6 other fishermen (from the same hometown of Tien Thuy commune, Quynh Luu district) while working in the sea area with coordinates: 18⁰57' – 106⁰At 7 minutes, about 13 nautical miles from Mat Island, Mr. Bui Duy Ninh was unfortunately hit in the abdomen by a winch, causing serious injury.

After Mr. Ninh was injured, the captain contacted the authorities to request emergency transportation for the victim (fishing vessels move slowly, which will affect the victim's life).

Upon receiving the news, at 5:30 p.m. the same day, Squadron 2 dispatched boat BP 06.15.01 consisting of 6 officers and soldiers to quickly go out to sea to approach the vehicle with the victim. At the same time, the Nghe An Border Guard Command dispatched 1 ambulance, 1 medical team led by Major, Doctor Tran Nam Thang (Provincial Border Guard Logistics Department) to be on duty, provide first aid, and transport the victim when the boat reached the shore.

Immediately after being brought ashore, Mr. Bui Duy Ninh received first aid from the Border Guard medical team, then was urgently transferred to Military Hospital 4 for treatment.
