Stable and safe power supply during the Lunar New Year 2019

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Nghe An province requests units to perform the following tasks:

- Nghe An Electricity Company:Direct local power companies and relevant functional departments to implement stable and safe operation methods in the power system to ensure stable and continuous power supply to people and units in the province during the 2019 Lunar New Year; Prepare human resources and materials to resolve power incidents to ensure safe power supply for people and units during the Tet holiday and have backup power supply plans; focus on fire prevention and fighting in public places, residential areas, and entertainment areas.

- Department of Industry and Trade:Strengthen the inspection, supervision and implementation of the power supply plan of Nghe An Electricity and local power companies in the province to ensure stable and continuous power supply and ensure safety for people and property during Tet; promptly report on preparations to ensure power supply, power supply situation and power outages as well as electrical accidents occurring in the province during Tet.

- Department of Information and Communications, Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television StationActively propagate to people, agencies and businesses in the province to implement measures to save electricity, use electrical equipment reasonably, reduce peak hour capacity, and ensure absolute safety in electricity use.

- People's Committees of districts, cities and towns:Develop plans to ensure fire and explosion prevention in public places, residential areas, and entertainment areas; Inspect power units under their management to ensure electricity supply during the 2019 Lunar New Year.
