Couple less than 90cm tall are about to get married

The 88cm tall man proposed to his 89.4cm tall girlfriend in front of close friends at a sushi restaurant in his hometown of Itupeva, Brazil.

According to Mirror, 30-year-old Paulo Gabriel da Silva Barros has skeletal dysplasia and his 26-year-old girlfriend Katyucia Hoshino has achondroplasia. The combined height of the two is less than 1.8 meters.

"Everyone knows we have been dating and living together for eight years," Paulo said at the restaurant yesterday.

"But we are not married yet. Because you have been with us for a long time, so I want to share this moment with you and ask her to marry me."

"Are you serious? Are you okay? Do you have a fever?" Katyucia was surprised when asked.

This Brazilian couple is eagerly preparing for the wedding, especially Katyucia, who wants to have the perfect wedding dress.

"This is the best part of getting married," Katyucia said. "After he proposed, I was still in shock."

They hope their marriage will lead to Guinness World Records recognizing them as the world's shortest married couple.
