Meanwhile, at Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, the price of SJC gold at the time of the survey was listed at 133.5 - 134.5 million VND/ounce for buying and selling. At Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited, the price of gold bars was traded at 132.5 - 134.5 million VND/ounce (buying - selling).

USD exchange rate on September 27, 2025: Slightly increased.
On the morning of September 27th, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) announced the central exchange rate at 25,194 VND/USD, an increase of 3 dong compared to yesterday.
With an allowed trading margin of ±5%, commercial banks can quote exchange rates within the range of 23,934 to 26,454 VND/USD.
In contrast to the central exchange rate, the buying price of USD at most banks reversed its upward trend this morning, decreasing by 6 to 25 dong. Notably, Sacombank was the only bank to increase its buying price by 10 dong. Currently, the USD buying price is fluctuating around 26,183 - 26,221 VND/USD.
On the selling side, most banks adjusted their rates slightly upwards by 3 dong, bringing the selling price to 26,453 VND/USD.
Below are the updated USD buying and selling rates at several major banks as of 9:15 AM this morning:
Vietcombank: 26,183 - 26,453 VND/USD (Buying rate decreased by 17 dong, selling rate increased by 3 dong)
VietinBank: 26,221 - 26,453 VND/USD (Buying rate decreased by 16 dong, selling rate increased by 3 dong)
BIDV: 26,215 - 26,453 VND/USD (Buying rate decreased by 25 dong, selling rate increased by 3 dong)
Techcombank: 26,209 - 26,453 VND/USD (Buying rate decreased by 6 dong, selling rate increased by 3 dong)
Sacombank: 26,210 - 26,453 VND/USD (Buying rate increased by 10 dong, selling rate increased by 3 dong)
On the international market, the US dollar also showed strength. The USD Index (DXY), which measures the greenback against a basket of major currencies, recovered to 98.44 points.
The main reason stems from positive US economic data: Q2 2024 GDP was revised upward to 3.8%, higher than initial forecasts. This data reinforces expectations that the Fed may maintain high interest rates.
Pepper prices today, September 27, 2025: Indonesia continues to decline.
Today, September 26th, pepper prices remain unchanged from yesterday in all major growing regions. The common domestic purchase price currently ranges from 148,000 to 150,000 VND/kg.
In the Central Highlands region, pepper prices are listed as follows: Dak Lak province at 150,000 VND/kg, Gia Lai province at 148,000 VND/kg, and Lam Dong province at 149,000 VND/kg.
In the Southeast region, pepper prices in Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Dong Nai both reached 150,000 VND/kg, while in Binh Phuoc the price was 148,000 VND/kg.
On the international market, pepper prices from major producing countries also remained unchanged. According to updates from the International Pepper Association (IPC), the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper decreased by 0.13% to US$6,945/ton and the price of Muntok white pepper decreased by 0.13% to US$9,841/ton.
Malaysia's ASTA black pepper is priced at US$9,700/ton, Brazil's at US$6,500/ton, and ASTA white pepper at US$12,900/ton.
Regarding exports, Vietnamese black pepper prices are at two main levels: the standard 500 gr/l grade is traded at US$6,600/ton, and the high-quality 550 gr/l grade is priced at US$6,800/ton. For white pepper, export prices remain stable at US$9,250/ton.
Coffee prices today, September 27, 2025: Slight decrease domestically.
Domestic coffee prices in the Central Highlands region today, September 27, 2025, decreased by 1000 to 1600 VND/kg compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 112,200 and 113,000 VND/kg.
Lam Dong province currently has the lowest price, ranging from 112,200 to 113,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 1,000 to 1,500 VND/kg.
In Dak Lak, the trading price is 113,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 1,500 VND/kg.
In Gia Lai, the price is now 112,600 VND/kg, a further decrease of 1,600 VND/kg.
On the London exchange, the online price of robusta coffee futures for November 2025 delivery reached $4192/tonne, up 2.39% ($98/tonne) from yesterday. The January 2026 futures contract increased 2.11% ($86/tonne), reaching $4168/tonne.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery rose 2.1% (7.8 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, reaching 379.15 US cents/pound. The March 2026 contract increased 2.38% (8.35 US cents/pound), reaching 359.8 US cents/pound.
On the Brazilian exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery rose 1.81% (8 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, reaching 450.9 US cents/pound. The March 2026 contract increased 1.92% (8.4 US cents/pound), reaching 446.5 US cents/pound.
Rubber prices today, September 27, 2025: Sharp decline in Tokyo
In Singapore, the price of rubber futures for October 2025 rose 0.35% (US$0.6/tonne) compared to yesterday, to US$173.7/tonne. The November 2025 contract fell 0.91% (US$1.6/tonne), to US$172.7/tonne.
At the opening of trading on September 27th in China, the price of October 2025 rubber futures on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) fell 0.4% (60 yuan) to 14,680 yuan/tonne. The price of November 2025 rubber futures fell 0.06% (10 yuan) to 14,705 yuan/tonne.
At the time of this survey, the price of RSS3 on the TOCOM Commodity Exchange (Tokyo) for November 2025 delivery decreased by 3.23% (10.3 Yen/kg) compared to yesterday, to 307.2 Yen/kg. The December 2025 contract decreased by 3.08% (9.8 Yen/kg), reaching 307.5 Yen/kg.
Cocoa prices today, September 27, 2025: Sharp decline across the board.
As of 6:00 AM on September 27, 2025, cocoa prices traded on the New York exchange for December 2025 delivery fell 7% (US$521/ton) compared to yesterday, to US$6910/ton. The March 2026 contract decreased by 5.28% (US$387/ton), reaching US$6395/ton.
At the time of this survey, London cocoa prices for December 2025 delivery were down 0.54% (27 GBP/tonne) compared to yesterday, at 4841 GBP/tonne. The March 2026 contract was down 0.52% (26 GBP/tonne), reaching 4862 GBP/tonne.
Oil prices today, September 27, 2025: Strongest weekly increase in three months.
In trading on September 27, Brent crude rose 23 cents to $69.65 per barrel, while US WTI crude increased 33 cents to $65.31 per barrel. With these developments, both benchmark crudes are on track for their strongest weekly gains since mid-June.
World oil prices rose by more than 4% last week as Russia restricted fuel exports and tensions in Ukraine continued to escalate.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced new retail fuel prices effective from 3 PM on September 25th. Specifically, they are as follows:
- The price of E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by 370 VND/liter to 19,610 VND/liter.
- The price of RON 95-III gasoline decreased by 440 VND/liter, to 20,160 VND/liter.
- Diesel fuel prices decreased slightly by 50 VND/liter, to 18,650 VND/liter.
- The price of kerosene increased by 80 VND/liter to 18,620 VND/liter.
- The price of fuel oil increased by 70 VND/kg, to 15,200 VND/kg.
During this period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance did not allocate or utilize funds from the Price Stabilization Fund.
