Update on North Korea's latest missile launch
The South Korean military has just announced that North Korea fired two short-range missiles from the east coast early on July 25.
This is the first missile test since North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and US President Donald Trump agreed to revive denuclearization talks.

This latest move by North Korea is also raising doubts about efforts to restart denuclearization talks after the two US and North Korean leaders met at the demilitarized zone (DMZ) in late June 2019.
A Japanese government source said the missiles launched by North Korea on the morning of July 25 did not reach Japan's Exclusive Economic Zone and did not affect Japan's national security.
The White House, the US Department of Defense and the US Department of State have not yet made any official comments on this incident. South Korea is also cautiously analyzing the type of missile that North Korea just launched. The South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff seem to be quite cautious, saying that they will continue to monitor the situation to guard against the possibility of North Korea launching new flying objects./.
