Hoang thinks this score is the same as the score he “self-graded” after the exam. Of the 3 subjects in block A, Hoang studied Chemistry the hardest, but got the highest score in Math.

Hai's admission score for block A is 28.6, including: Math: 9.6; Physics: 9; Chemistry: 10. Hai shared: Among the subjects in block A, I am better at Math, but my Chemistry exam score is higher. I was quite surprised with a score of 10 in Chemistry. When I came back from the exam, although I did well in Chemistry, I never thought about getting a score of 10.

The two brothers Hoang and Hai are the youngest sons in a farming family, their parents work in the fields and also work as pig butchers. Hoang and Hai were born on March 22, 2002, the two brothers are quite similar in appearance, making it difficult for first-timers to distinguish which is Hoang and which is Hai.

From grade 1 to grade 9, Hoang and Hai were in the same class. In high school, because the school assigned classes based on the entrance scores, the two brothers studied in two classes: Hoang studied in grade 12C, and Hai studied in grade 12B, Thanh Chuong 1 High School. During their high school years, the two brothers went to school together in the same car and Hoang always acted as the "driver". Unlike many other twins, Hoang and Hai rarely wore the same clothes.

The common traits of the two brothers are cheerful, well-behaved, and hard-working. In studying, both of them love and are good at natural subjects, especially subjects in block A. The similar achievements of the two brothers Hoang and Hai are that throughout 12 years of studying, they have been excellent students and advanced students.

Hoang achieved the title of district-level excellent student in Biology in grade 9. Hai achieved the title of district-level excellent student in Mathematics for 4 consecutive years from grade 6 to grade 9. Because of the same exam scores, studying at the same school, and sitting at the same desk at home, the two brothers Hoang and Hai had the opportunity to exchange lessons with each other and strive together to achieve their dream of passing the university entrance exam.

Sharing their study secrets, both Hoang and Hai said that they do not have any special study methods, other than paying attention to the teachers in class, actively studying and researching the lessons at home, and reviewing the test sets. "We spend more time reviewing during the exam period, studying until 2am is normal many nights" - Hai said.

Hoang added that on the night of August 26, upon hearing the news that the Ministry of Education and Training had announced the exam scores, the two brothers Hoang and Hai sat "on duty" until 1 a.m. to check the scores. When they learned that their scores were both high, they were so happy that they "forgot" to sleep.

As the youngest in a family of four children, Hoang and Hai have continued their older sisters’ spirit of learning and overcoming difficulties. Every day, in addition to studying, the two brothers actively help their parents with the crops and housework.

Talking about his children's education, Mr. Dinh Huu Duong (53 years old) shared: In the past, we did not have much time to study, but now we have better conditions, so we always advise our children to study carefully. Over the past years, the children have also tried very hard in their studies with a spirit of self-discipline and diligence. The family is also very happy that both children have achieved high results in their exams and will create all possible conditions for them to study well.

Both brothers Hoang and Hai applied for admission to Hanoi University of Science and Technology. With their scores, Hoang and Hai both hope to be admitted to this school. Hoang likes the Faculty of Automation, while Hai likes the Faculty of Information Technology. Hoang shared: "I am very happy that both brothers have quite high scores in the entrance exam for block A. If we both get admitted to Hanoi University of Science and Technology, we will rent a room and live together like at home."
