Pig gallstones are being offered 200 million VND in Nghe An?

(Baonghean.vn) - A resident of Quynh Tam commune, Quynh Luu district, discovered a "pig gallstone" weighing over 1kg while butchering a sow.

Accordingly, Mr. Ho Van Hoang, residing in Hamlet 8, Quynh Tam Commune, slaughtered his family's sow, which had been raised for over 10 months, and discovered a strange object. After removing it, he confirmed it was "pig gallstone," and weighing over 1 kg, it was found to be a "pig gallstone."

Curious about this strange object, many locals came to see it; after the information was posted on social media, Mr. Hoang received many phone calls inquiring about buying it.

According to Mr. Hoang, most of the phone calls came from outside the province, including one person from Thai Binh province who offered 200 million VND to buy this "pig gallstone," but Mr. Hoang has not yet agreed to sell it.

"According to information online, pig gallstones are very rare and can cure many diseases, so they are highly valuable. Right now, I'm not entirely sure about their actual value, but if someone offers a higher price, I'll sell them," said Mr. Hoang.
