12-year-old boy runs Donald Trump's campaign office

Weston Imer, 12, runs the day-to-day operations at the Jefferson County Elections Office, one of the most populous counties in Colorado, home to the Denver metro.

Although she is the official coordinator, that’s just a title on paper, says his mother, Laurel Imer. Most of the office work is handled directly by Weston Imer. He sometimes recruits friends his age to help him. His mother hopes her son’s work will inspire other parents to help their children do the same.

Weston Imer was responsible for assembling volunteers and running campaigns to boost Trump's approval rating in this crucial state. He even met billionaire Donald Trump personally.

Weston Imer's plan is to one day become President himself. The US Constitution requires that people be 35 years or older to run for President and Vice President. So the closest term Weston Imer can run for is 2040.
