Kautilya Pandit currently lives in Kohand village, Haryana state, India. He has an exceptional ability to absorb information across various fields, from geography and biology to social issues, economic statistics, politics, and many other topics. Within three months, Kautilya memorized information about the population, gross domestic product (GDP), income sources, currency, religion, culture, and heritage of numerous countries around the world.
Thanks to this extraordinary ability, Kautilya became famous, frequently invited to schools in India to answer questions for children his age. In a recent appearance, despite receiving unusual questions such as the total surface area of the Vatican or the GDP of the UK, the boy still answered with ease.
Thanks to his photographic information-gathering and memory abilities, Kautilya is affectionately known as "Google Boy." Kautilya appeared on the television show Kaun Banega Crorepati (the Indian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire) in 2013. "The genius boy Kautilya Pandit is just over 5 years old, but he can answer questions that many scientists or people with extensive knowledge struggle to answer," host Amitabh Bachchan wrote on Twitter.
"I think the greatest thing I'm lucky to have is my parents and teachers, who recognized this special ability and helped me develop it. I don't have many friends in class, and my grandfather is my best friend. I don't know why I'm different, but I know that I'm curious about everything and always ask questions," Kautilya said, telling herself that every question has an answer.
"Kautilya is a gift we've been given. He's very curious and fortunate to have a good memory," said his father, Satish Sharma. In the family, the parents of "Google Boy" are proud of their son. They recognized his unique qualities but could never have imagined that Kautilya would possess "an ocean of knowledge."
It all started during a summer vacation, when the boy spent most of his time reading atlases and books, and then asking questions. In the future, Kautilya wants to become a scientist, an astronaut, or an employee of the International Astronautical Society (IAS).
