Nguyen Van Dung (born in 1990, from Nam Loc commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An), was born with a disability, making it difficult for him to move around, having to use wooden crutches. However, with the desire to go to school, and the help of his parents and friends, he completed 12 years of schooling.

During the exam days, Dung was “escorted” by his brother to the exam site, and from the school gate to the exam room, he was helped by his friends and the invigilator. Knowing that he had difficulty walking, Dung and his brother set off very early to be on time for the exam. With the help of his friends, Dung tried very hard to get to the exam room on the 2nd floor, the exam site of Vinh University.

Dung said: “My legs have been atrophied since I was a child, and my family is poor so we cannot afford surgery or orthopedic surgery. My life is tied to wooden crutches. Before, I was also very self-conscious and self-conscious. But I know that to overcome my circumstances, the only way is to study. With the encouragement of my parents, the help, sharing, and support of my friends and teachers, I am very confident entering this exam. Hopefully, I will do well on the test to meet everyone's expectations…”

With the dream of becoming an IT engineer, Dung registered for the Faculty of Information Technology, Vinh University. “Becoming an IT engineer is my dream, having a stable job, supporting myself so as not to become a burden to my family and society is my biggest wish.”

Hope the dream of this strong-willed disabled boy will come true…
