(Baonghean.vn) - According to the latest information, rescue workers have just brought the 8th boy out of Tham Luang cave in Northern Thailand on the afternoon of July 9.

Previously, along with the four cases, the fifth boy was brought out of the cave thanks to a team of international and Thai diving experts.

The identities of those rescued are still unknown and are being treated in isolation rooms at the hospital.

It is understood that Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha will personally visit the rescue scene today to oversee the operation.

Brought out of the cave two more boys

Rescuers have pulled two more boys out of the Tham Luang cave system, bringing the number of people trapped inside down to five. According to CNN, the coach remains in the cave with the boys who have not been rescued.

The youth soccer team members rescued on July 9 have been transferred to a medical facility for examination and treatment.

Witness: The 8th boy escaped from the cave

According to a witness who was a member of the rescue operation stationed at Tham Luang cave, the eighth boy was brought out of the cave on July 9 and transferred to the hospital.

The total number of victims rescued from the cave on Monday was four, following four previous successful rescues on July 8.
