Football story: Hong Viet and the goal of his life
Having had a long period of trouble due to his complicated private life, the young talent of Nghe An football, Nguyen Hong Viet, has marked his return after scoring a goal against QNK.QN in the last round. That goal, Viet said, was "the goal of his life".

Famous in youth tournaments, Hong Viet's career was not smooth. Arrested for drug possession at the age of 19, Hong Viet lived a wandering life and was eventually terminated by SLNA before the end of his contract. Then at the end of 2012, when he returned to SLNA, he was seriously injured while out playing. It took a long time to heal and rehabilitate, but Hong Viet did not leave a mark on the field in the 2013 season.
At the end of 2013, while the one-time stars ofSLNAand also a close friend of Hong Viet like Trong Hoang, Van Binh, Van Hoan, whose contract with the Nghe An team expired and was sought after by many clubs with billions of dong in signing bonuses, Hong Viet was still tired of searching for his old glory. Although Hong Viet has been playing football for many years, the money he earns is not much, so his mother has to work hard with a stall at Vinh market. Every day, Hong Viet takes his son from the house on Minh Khai street (Vinh city) to school and then carries his shoes to play "street" football to maintain his physical strength and earn extra income to support his son. At the end of 2013, Hong Viet's life was difficult when he did not know whether SLNA would renew his contract or not.
Feeling very sympathetic to Hong Viet's fate, after a trip to Europe, CoachNguyen Huu Thangcalled this midfielder to talk. At that meeting, Viet did not dare to set the condition of receiving a signing bonus, but on the contrary, he only hoped to receive a monthly salary. Understanding the difficulties that Viet was facing, Mr. Thang assured this midfielder: "Just go home, SLNA will extend your contract." Then, after that, a 1-year contract between SLNA and Hong Viet was signed. Notably, the Nghe An team gave him nearly 300 million VND in signing bonus to add to the excitement.
Determined not to let down Coach Huu Thang, Hong Viet practiced hard and in the match against QNK.QN, when he was put on the field in the second half, he scored, contributing to the 6-1 victory for the Nghe team. Witnessing his close friend score, defender Van Hoan (B.BD) sent his congratulations to Hong Viet: "If you have the chance, you will score, your class speaks."
He had indeed suppressed his emotions for quite a while, so when he tore the netQNK.QN, this midfielder took off his shirt to celebrate, even though he knew that action would get him a yellow card. Viet had waited for this moment for so long and like a bird singing loudly after a long time, the feeling of happiness would naturally surge. That goal of his life was like a ray of hope for Viet, opening a "new chapter" for his career, after many storms that he had to endure.
