Right from birth, Bom (son of actor Quoc Tuan) suffered from APERT (localized early osteogenesis imperfecta) - a very rare disease with a recorded rate of 1/88,000 children in the world. Artist Quoc Tuan, in the first moments of looking at his son, had a feeling of collapse.

But then, the actor held his son's hand and told himself, "Bom will be fine." To make the word "fine" come true, Bom had to undergo 10 surgeries. And that was also the 15-year journey with his son of artist Quoc Tuan.

He and his wife traveled everywhere, both domestically and internationally, to find a cure for their son. The journey to cure Bom was already difficult, but actor Quoc Tuan's journey to help his son become confident and develop like a normal boy made the public admire him even more.

Actor Quoc Tuan said he absolutely does not let his child feel inferior. Ever since his child was little, he often took him out to play so that Bom could be confident with those around him and, more importantly, confident with himself.
