Many curious people came to Mr. Tran Chi Cuong's house in Hamlet 2, Ward 3, Vinh Long City, Vinh Long Province to see the yellow eel (about 400 grams) that he unexpectedly caught on March 14.
The eel that Mr. Tran Chi Cuong caught was golden yellow all over, with only a few black spots on its head. Mr. Tran Chi Cuong said that on his days off, he often went to the fields to fish, and caught eels for fun. Mr. Cuong often caught big eels, but this was the first time he had caught an eel this golden.
Currently, Mr. Cuong is raising this yellow eel at home for his own use and has no intention of selling it.
