Hanoi Police Club welcomes a series of Thais after Coach Kiatisak takes over the 'hot seat'
The reigning V-League champion Hanoi Police will have more necessary additions for coach Kiatisak when the Thai strategist officially takes over the "hot seat".
To best support the new coach Kiatisak, Hanoi Police Club is planning to sign additional contracts with some assistants of the Thai strategist. After a period of negotiation and discussion, Coach Kiatisak has agreed to lead Hanoi Police until the end of the 2023/24 season. This is very surprising news as Hanoi Police was previously said to have contacted Coach Mano Polking.
According to the original plan, the Hanoi Police Department's leadership wanted Coach Kiatisak to go to the capital on January 11 to get acquainted with the team. However, "Thai Zico" wanted to postpone the deadline to say goodbye to his friends, colleagues and students at Hoang Anh Gia Lai.

Coach Kiatisak will fly to Hanoi on January 13 and then on January 15, Kiatisak will have his first training session with the new team. To provide maximum support to Coach Kiatisak, Hanoi Police also agreed to sign additional contracts with his two former assistants, Bundit Thiabthong, Witoon Mingkwan (fitness coach) and a Thai assistant interpreter.
Coach Kiatisak will have more than 1 month to train his players, get acquainted with the new team and build his tactical system before his debut match in round 9 of the V-League against Ho Chi Minh City Club on February 18.
Coach Kiatisak’s task at Hanoi Police will not be easy as he must help the reigning V-League champions return to the championship race. Hanoi Police are currently ranked 5th with 12 points after 8 matches, 7 points behind the top team, Nam Dinh Steel Blue.

Recently, Thai newspaper Idoojung reported that coach Kiatisak is considering bringing two Thai stars to play at Hanoi Police, midfielder Chanathip Songkrasin and defender Theerathon Bunmathan. If this deal is successful, it will be a big bang for Southeast Asian football.
After saying goodbye to Kawasaki Frontale Club (Japan), Chanathip joined Pathum United of Thailand. Meanwhile, defender and captain of the Thai national team, Theerathon Bunmathan, is playing for Buriram United. Both are the most prominent and excellent factors of Thai football at the present time.
