CNN Indonesia commented that if FIFA's penalty is given, PSSI will lose the right to host the U20 World Cup.
On the evening of October 1, the match between Arema FC and Persebaya Surabaya at the Kanjuruhan Stadium in Indonesia witnessed a horrifying scene. After the home team lost 2-3, Arema fans were dissatisfied and rushed onto the field to threaten captain Ahmad Alfarizi and defender Sergio Silva.
The growing unrest led to the use of tear gas by security forces. However, this only made things worse after that, when the crowd panicked and started trampling each other to escape the stadium.

Nkunku will join Chelsea next summer. |
The French striker also underwent a medical and signed a memorandum of understanding with Chelsea, before the deal was officially approved in June 2023. The reason Nkunku has to continue playing for Leipzig until the end of the 2022/23 season is because his contract release clause will not be activated until next summer. Chelsea decided to act early to avoid the risk of being snatched by other rivals.
Moving to Germany to play football since 2019, up to now, Nkunku has scored 55 goals and had 48 assists after 148 matches for RB Leipzig. The 22-year-old player has also just debuted for the French national team and is likely to be on the list for the upcoming 2022 World Cup. Recently, Liverpool, Real Madrid and PSG have also been interested in Nkunku. However, Chelsea pursued him more vigorously and succeeded in recruiting him.
