Phan Ba ​​Quyen was very sad when he heard that his contract was terminated. He shared with Nghe An Newspaper: "I was shocked when I heard that my contract was terminated. It is difficult for young players not to make mistakes. During the 2 seasons I played for Binh Phuoc, this was the first time I made a mistake, but immediately received this bad result. I tried to meet the head coach of the team directly but couldn't. If my contract was terminated just because of this mistake, it would not be worth it."

Also at the end of the 2022 season, Ba Quyen was loaned to Binh Phuoc by Song Lam Nghe An. The presence of this central defender helped Binh Phuoc play stably, thereby successfully staying in the league.

"Last season, Binh Phuoc was at high risk of relegation so they called me to help the team. I played every match and played with stable performance, contributing significantly to the team's successful relegation" - Ba Quyen shared.

Realizing that Ba Quyen is a player with solid expertise, suitable for the team, so going into the 2023 season, Binh Phuoc directly contacted Song Lam Nghe An to continue to have this central defender in the squad.

Due to his good technical qualities and tactical vision, when he reached U16, the player from Yen Thanh was promoted to play as an anchor midfielder by the Song Lam Nghe An youth team coaches. Currently, he can play well in both central defender and defensive midfielder positions.
