The American-born player appeared on the world's biggest stage at the age of 16 years and 26 days, surpassing the previous record of Nigerian player - Ifeanyi Chiejine. Chiejine played at the 1999 Women's World Cup at the age of 16 years and 34 days.

In the match that took place on the morning of July 25, Casey Phair did not show much in the 10 minutes on the field as South Korea was overwhelmed by Colombia. The young striker and his teammates had to accept a 0-2 defeat. In the near future, Casey Phair will have 2 more matches against Germany and Morocco to show her ability at this year's Women's World Cup.

Phair's full name is Casey Yu Jin Phair, her father is American and her mother is Korean. Her family moved to the US when Phair was only one month old. The girl born in 2007 plays for Pingry School and practices soccer at the PDA Player Development Academy in New Jersey.

Phair made her debut in Korean football with the U17 team when she scored two goals against Tajikistan and three goals against Hong Kong (China) to help the Korean U17 women's team enter the second qualifying round of the 2024 AFC U17 Women's Championship./.
