Among them, Huu Thang, Van Sy Hung, Duong Hong Son, Huy Hoang, Van Quyen, Cong Vinh, Trong Hoang, Quoc Vuong… are players who have made positive contributions to the achievements of the Vietnamese national team.

When entering the battle, players from Nghe An have good technique, strong physical strength, and especially high spirit and will for the flag. Therefore, the Vietnamese national team cannot lack players from Nghe An.

Besides the undeniable strengths and contributions, it is regrettable that some players of Nghe origin lack self-respect and courage, leading to wrongdoings. The image of these players is not only bad in the eyes of fans, but also the reputation of players of Nghe origin is affected. In the 2012 AFF Cup, the Vietnamese national team had 6-7 players of Nghe An origin. Before the final round, many Nghe An fans had high hopes for these players.
