Player Pham Xuan Manh was born in 1996, playing for Song Lam Nghe An. In the 2018 U23 Asian and Asian Games seasons, the right-back made many contributions to the national teams.

However, after that, due to a broken fibula and ligament damage in the 2018 National Cup semi-final, Xuan Manh had to go to Singapore for surgery, missing two important tournaments: the 2018 AFF Cup and the 2019 Asian Cup Finals.

Xuan Manh said: He just returned home on December 3, but doctors diagnosed that he needs 5 more months to fully recover.

Although he did not have the opportunity to play, Xuan Manh still received a lot of attention from fans.
