Young SLNA players shine at the Southeast Asian U15 Championship
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 2, the U15 Vietnam team played the 4th match of the 2019 Southeast Asian U15 Championship and won 3-0 against Myanmar. The victory helped coach Dinh The Nam and his team continue to maintain their hope of competing for a ticket to the semi-finals.
Among the list of 23 official players participating in the 2019 Southeast Asian U15 Championship, there are 8 young SLNA players: Goalkeeper Dang Xuan Son, Tran Dinh Thanh, Nguyen Van Bay, Dang Ba Ha, Dam Duc Vinh, Ngo Van Bac, Cai Van Quy, Nguyen Quang Vinh.
Among the above mentioned faces, Nguyen Van Bay, Dam Duc Vinh, Cai Van Quy, Nguyen Quang Vinh are the players regularly arranged by coach Dinh The Nam in the official squad.

In the first match, U15 Vietnam lost to U15 Indonesia with a score of 0-2. However, in the second match against the Philippines, coach Dinh The Nam's players played with great courage. The goals of the Vietnam team were scored by Pham Van Phong and a double by Cai Van Quy, helping the boys in red to a 3-1 victory.
In the third match against U15 Singapore, the U15 Vietnam team earned 3 valuable points thanks to the only goal scored by Le Minh Toan from the 11m mark. Most recently, in the 3-0 victory over Myanmar, Cai Van Quy continued to show his high performance with 2 goals in the 3rd and 44th minutes.
With this result, Vietnam continues to maintain hope in the race for a ticket to the next round in Group A. Currently, U15 Vietnam is ranked 3rd with 9 points, 1 point less than Timor Leste and Indonesia. In the final match of the group stage on August 4, U15 Vietnam will meet direct competitor Timor Leste.
