After finishing the qualifying round with a convincing performance, U17 Song Lam Nghe An had a 5-day break. In order to prepare thoroughly in all aspects for the students, right after the match, the coaching staff of U17 Song Lam Nghe An moved the team to Hung Yen.

Here, the team had 3 training sessions, which will help the Nghe An players reach their best point before entering the final round. Sharing about the preparation process for the difficult matches ahead, the coach of U17 Song Lam Nghe An said: "The qualifying round ends close to the final round, so the coaching staff also gives exercises to maintain the physical strength and excitement of the athletes. Up to now, the athletes' spirit is very good. The injured players have fully recovered. We are ready to enter the first match in the final round."

In the opening match of Group B, the 2023 National U17 Finals, taking place at 2:00 p.m. on March 10, U17 Song Lam Nghe An will face U17 Khanh Hoa. In the qualifying round, U17 Khanh Hoa ranked second in Group D, winning 5 matches, drawing 1 match and losing 2 matches. With what this team has shown, experts believe that Khanh Hoa has a chance to create a surprise in this group.

Before the opening match, coach Phan Tien Hoai was cautious when talking about his opponents. “In the final round, all teams are strong. Our team is used to playing on natural turf, but now having to play on artificial turf makes it a bit difficult for the players. This turf has a different bounce and passing force than natural turf, so it affects the players' feeling of playing. Besides, when playing on artificial turf in hot weather like today, it will make the players lose more energy.”
