Vietnamese players in Asia's best squad at U20 World Cup

Fox Sport TV channel voted for the best Asian team at the U20 World Cup, including left-back Doan Van Hau.

Asian teams were eliminated in the round of 16 but Fox Sports said many young players had quality performances. They caught the attention of scouts and could move to big clubs in the future.

In the typical lineup of Asian players, Fox Sport emphasized that these names can completely become pillars of the national team in the next stage.

Saudi Arabia and South Korea are the two teams with the most members, each contributing four names to the squad. The remaining three names belong to Japan, Iran and Vietnam.

Doan Van Hau is a name that Fox Sport highly appreciates and ranks him as a left-back in the typical lineup according to the 4-4-2 formation. The US-based news agency praised the young talent of Hanoi FC for possessing explosive attacking qualities despite playing in defense.

Despite Vietnam's early elimination, Doan Van Hau impressed with his ability to coordinate and link up with the midfielders, solid in defense as well as dangerous in attack. Fox Sport predicts a bright future for the U20 Vietnam player and believes he is capable of playing abroad.

Playing on the left wing alongside Doan Van Hau in the typical lineup is Korean attacking star Lee Seung Woo. This 19-year-old player is known as the "Asian Messi" and is playing for Barca B.
