(Baonghean.vn) –Following the article published by Nghe An Online on December 16, 2012, reflecting on the "Severely dilapidated condition of the Do Ro suspension bridge (Tan Ky)," the authorities have inspected and carried out repairs in response to the newspaper's comments. The bridge is now open to traffic and safe for crossing.

The Do Ro suspension bridge, spanning the Con River and connecting Nghia Binh and Nghia Dong communes in Tan Ky district (Nghe An province), is the largest cable-stayed bridge in Tan Ky district, Nghe An province, measuring 194 meters in length and 2 meters in width. Although the bridge has only been in use for over two years (opened in August 2010), hundreds of bolts are missing, dozens of railings are broken, and many planks on the bridge deck are rotten and damaged, threatening the safety of people and vehicles crossing it.
