The Uruguayan striker confirmed the transfer of priority rights to the world's most expensive player and will help his junior on the field.

In an interview after the 4-1 win over Nantes on November 18, Edinson Cavani said briefly: "Neymar will take the next penalty." The former Napoli player also explained that this was a decision made by Unai Emery.

"Neymar has played well since coming to PSG and knows how to deal with pressure," the 30-year-old striker shared. "We are not necessarily friends, but we will help each other on the pitch."

Neymar will be the preferred penalty taker for PSG.

In the 79th minute of the match between PSG and Lyon in mid-September, PSG was awarded a penalty. Cavani held the ball and was about to take it, but Neymar approached and said something, apparently asking for the right to take the free kick. The Uruguayan striker did not agree, causing the world's most expensive player to leave in a huff.

The conflict between the two stars on the PSG attack line was rumored when neither of them ever mentioned the other in interviews. Neymar only praised his junior Kylian Mbappe, while Cavani was exposed many moments of mocking his junior on the training ground.

However, the conflict between the two seems to have been resolved when Cavani agreed to let his junior take the penalty kicks. He has now risen to the top of the Ligue 1 scoring charts, with 15 goals.
