Mr. Ngo Van Dat, Dien Nguyen commune, Dien Chau district excitedly said: "After many years of having to go early and wait for dozens of minutes to withdraw money, this year it was much less difficult. When I got to the ATM, there were only 4 people withdrawing money, after about 10 minutes it was my turn. Unlike previous years, sometimes I had to wait for an hour and still couldn't withdraw money..."

The same situation was observed at the ATMs in Yen Thanh town on January 20. Although the number of people withdrawing money was higher than usual, there was no overload; instead, they all operated normally to serve people withdrawing money for Tet.

According to research, among the reasons why ATMs are not overloaded like previous years, there is a habit of paying without cash but transferring money through applications; people shopping for Tet, especially for high-value items, often choose to transfer money.

In addition, due to the overload situation at ATMs in previous years, this year, many people have chosen to go to bank branches to withdraw money directly, without having to wait at ATMs. In addition, the service of transferring money to receive cash is also becoming more and more popular with low costs to serve people's needs.

Although the load has been reduced compared to previous years, ATMs are still regularly checked to ensure normal operation to serve people during the Tet peak season.

Currently, banks have proactively reviewed and monitored the cash balance at ATMs, determined the frequency of cash replenishment, and the amount of cash each time to ensure that the machines always have enough money to serve customers' transaction needs during Tet. At ATMs, banks have set up hotlines for customers to proactively contact when problems arise during transactions.
