- To treat sore throat and cough: Take about 20-30g of the leaves or flowers of the *Cynanchum stauntonii* plant, crush them together with a few grains of salt, strain the liquid, and divide it into portions to gargle and swallow gradually. Take one dose per day for 7 consecutive days.
